The Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) New York Office, led by Ms. Jerdchan Aroonrat, Director of the BOI New York Office, conducted an investment promotion mission in the State of Florida from 16–18 June 2026. The mission aimed to strengthen relationships with local businesses, promote Thailand as a strategic investment destination, and explore new business and investment opportunities between Thailand and the United States.

During the mission, the BOI delegation met with a number of target companies in Florida to present Thailand's investment potential, highlight the country's competitive advantages, and introduce the investment incentives and support services offered by the Board of Investment. The meetings also provided an opportunity to exchange views on industry trends and future investment opportunities.

The delegation also visited HomeGrown Shrimp, an indoor shrimp farming facility in Indiantown, Florida, operated by CPF Group Thailand. The visit enabled BOI to observe the progress of a successful Thai investment in the United States and to discuss the company's business operations, technological innovations, and future expansion plans.

In addition, BOI New York participated in WHX Miami 2026, held in Miami Beach, Florida, one of the leading international exhibitions for the medical devices and healthcare industry. The event brought together manufacturers, distributors, healthcare professionals, and industry stakeholders from around the world, providing an excellent platform for networking and business development.

During the exhibition, the BOI delegation met with Mercator Thailand, a BOI-promoted company exhibiting at the event. Discussions focused on the company's business activities in the U.S. market, industry trends, and opportunities for further expansion. The delegation also received valuable feedback from the company to further strengthen BOI's investment promotion and investor support services.

The mission reflects BOI New York's continued commitment to attracting U.S. investment to Thailand while supporting Thai companies operating overseas. Through proactive engagement with businesses and participation in major international industry events, BOI aims to further enhance economic and investment cooperation between Thailand and the United States.
