On 26 June 2026, Mrs. Cherdchan Arunrat, Director of the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) New York Office, together with Ms. Somvida Keyuraphan, Deputy Director, attended a Buddhist chanting and an alms-giving ceremony dedicated to Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Krom Luang Rajasarinisiribajra Mahajakribajrabalarajadhita with Royal initiative of His Holiness Somdet Phra Ariyavongsagatanana, the Supreme Patriarch of Thailand on the auspicious occasion of the 99th Birthday Anniversary of His Holiness at New York Dhammaram Temple.

The ceremony was presided over by Miss Somjai Taphaopong, Consul-General of Thailand to New York, as the lay chairperson, The event was attended by officials and staff from the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Team Thailand agencies, and members of the local Thai community.
