The Thailand Board of Investment Office New York Office organized a media delegation visit to Thailand for journalists covering the semiconductor and advanced electronics industries during 9–16 May 2026. The delegation also attended the opening ceremony of SUBCON Thailand 2026.

The program aimed to promote Thailand’s image and highlight the country’s investment potential and opportunities in the semiconductor and advanced electronics sectors. 

During the visit, the media delegation met with executives and toured production facilities and innovation centers of leading companies and organizations, including EIC Semiconductor, Mahanakorn University of Technology, Thai Microelectronics Center (TMEC), Microchip Technology, Foxsemicon Integrated Technology Inc., Amata Smart City, Lumentum, Benchmark, and the US-ASEAN Business Council. 

The visit provided firsthand insights into Thailand’s industrial ecosystem, supply chain capabilities, skilled workforce, and readiness to serve as a key investment hub for advanced technology industries in the region.
